Even though Google Tag Manager is often promoted as a simple-to-use tool that requires no coding or technical knowledge, the reality becomes different once you start digging deeper.
Yes, there are plenty of things that can be implemented easily without much technical knowledge (like generic link click tracking). But there is so much more that you could do in order to harness GTM’s potential and actually collect meaningful data. In this masterclass, Julius Fedorovicius (from Analytics Mania) helped the attendees unlock those possibilities.
In this 2-day masterclass, the attendees learned about the right work principles with Google Tag Manager. Julius taught the attendees how to properly cooperate with developers to reach the best results (but they also learned how to complete complex certain tasks all by themselves). The key to success with Google Tag Manager is finding the right balance: trying to stay agile with your tag management but at the same time, not compromising the quality of your data collection mechanism.
*After the masterclass the attendees received a certificate of completion available to share and use on LinkedIn afterwards. (Note that this is not certification from Google, but this course can also be used as preparation for the official Google Analytics Certification).
In this masterclass, Julius shared knowledge on:
